We have been running SketchUcation for over 5 years, and it continues to be an extremely rewarding experience. We have had a lot of very positive feedback from you and wish to thank you all for your continued support and contributions.
As SketchUcation continues grow we needed to look for a way to ensure we evolve as a website and home to a vibrant community. As a small team we decided that we really wanted to be able to dedicate ourselves full-time to SketchUcation, and find a way to keep bringing free quality resources to all our members.
We could have asked for donations but decided that delivering a Premium service that benefitted our members was a more worthwhile endeavour.
Why we went the Premium route...
We wanted to remain true to the spirit of the SketchUcation community and continue to deliver great SketchUp freebies. So what is currently free will remain free and we still encourage members to share their content as normal.
Our premium service is primarily a way for us to be able to share more free resources every week and reward premium members with quality SketchUp content from leading SketchUp artists and to deliver a more personal support system.
We also wanted to give members a platform in which to share their content and allow the very best SketchUp artists a place to sell premiere SketchUp content.
