Where SketchUp lives!
SketchUcation, derived from the name 'SketchUp' and 'education', strives to provide the community with all aspects of SketchUp and SketchUp related learning materials. Below you can find information about the various means with which it does so.
SketchUcation is the home base for the SketchUp Community Forums (SCF) and provides the community with tutorials on its web site in text and images. Tutorials which are easy to follow and download quickly.
Primarily focussed on the SketchUp community as well as SketchUp education in general, SketchUcation also strives to include other related areas such as the various programs, plug-ins and add-ons that support and/or compliment SketchUp.
The following people play a key role in its succes:
Overall coordination and direction.
Tutorials coordination and production & technical support.
SCF Administrator (see below).
The SketchUp Community Forums or SCF in short, were created on May 10, 2007. The SCF is a community based project that provides support and education for the SketchUp community by the SketchUp community.
The following people help to organize it:
Known in the forums as Gaieus, Csaba assumed the role of SCF Administrator shortly after the SketchUp Community Forums were created.
Posting sometimes also under the name SCF, Coen Naninck is the backup Administrator for the SketchUp Community Forums. He also provides technical support for the forums where the Administrator tasks end.
Without the helpful guidance of the SCF Moderators the SketchUp Community Forums would not be able to exist. A list of currently active Moderators can be found here.
