You may have noticed the addition of new links in various existing sections, as well as a Sitemap. Well, today we announce the return of the SketchUcation blogs. These new blogs report on tutorial and extension news from the SCF, as well as new SketchUcation tutorials. Currently we have started two blogs: the SketchUp Tutorials blog and the SketchUp Extensions blog.

The Components section of the Model Info panel has two very useful options which make a world of difference when modeling complex objects with many hidden parts. This tutorial explains how to fully utilize these functions without resorting to the more cumbersome Layers panel.
